Shipping Policy

Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Domestic Shipping Policy

  • Shipment Processing Time: All orders are processed within 2-4 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
  • Deliveries: Deliveries will be done to your front door but to ground floor only.
  • If there is no one present at the time of delivery: If the courier company cannot reach you after repeated attempts, your order will be returned to our warehouse. You will be responsible for the costs of re-shipping the order.
  • Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates will be provided to you once your order is confirmed.
  • Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within [24 hours].
  • Damages: In the event that your product arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment with detailed photographs and a description of the damage. We will arrange for the damaged items to be returned and a replacement to be sent to you.
  • International Shipping Policy: We currently do not ship outside South Africa.

Shipping Methods

We offer the following shipping methods:

  • Local Deliveries: All local deliveries in a 100km radius from Brackenfell, Cape Town will be done via our own transport or smaller items will be delivered via courier.
  • National Deliveries: All National deliveries to major centers will be done via 3rd party transport companies and courier.

Shipping Restrictions

Certain items sold by Habitat Traders may have shipping restrictions due to size, weight, or other limitations. These restrictions will be noted on the product detail page.
